About me

    Hello there, and welcome to my Bowling Blog! My name is Joanie B. and although I'm not a professional bowler, I have loved the sport for over forty five years, averaged over 200 for several seasons, and learned quite a bit during that time. 
    
    When I first began to bowl, I started reading some books on the subject, but realized that I didn't fully understand what was being discussed. Some of the books were pretty technical and I felt a bit lost. That's when I decided to just get out there and join a league so I would be bowling consistently, at least once a week. I became friends with the better bowlers and asked a lot of questions. This is how I learned all that I know today, and I would like to share my knowledge with you in hopes that you can reach that 200 level a lot sooner than I did!
   
     Some of my articles may be a bit repetitive at times, but it's because I want to get some of the basics down for those of you that are just starting out or still pretty new to the sport. For those of you already bowling in leagues, there's nothing wrong with a bit of a review on some things from time to time.
